Neugebauer shares experience with prostate cancer - Lubbock AJ
Lubbock AJ - Texas Tech Physicians hosts Congressman Randy Neugebauer to discuss his experiences with prostate cancer.
Statistically, more men than women do not engage with health providers on a regular basis until it’s too late, which is why Neugebauer and TTUHSC President Tedd L. Mitchell are advocates for men conversing more with their physicians at yearly checkups.
“Anytime you have somebody ... that has name recognition and people know who they are, when they have issues that they can personalize, it does a really great service for a community for them to be able to talk about it,” Mitchell said.
