School of Medicine Hosts Annual Donor Luncheon


The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Medicine hosted a luncheon to thank donors who have provided scholarships to the school. Chancellor Robert L. Duncan and Steven L. Berk, M.D., executive vice president, provost and School of Medicine dean, shared stories of success at TTUHSC and thanked the donors for their support of medical education. Additionally, medical students Erika Allen and Michael Foreman, along with Michelle Tarbox, M.D., explained how receiving scholarships has had a transformational impact on their lives. The Donor Appreciation Luncheon for the School of Medicine is held each year in the spring.
