WHAT: The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health will host a luncheon, “A Conversation with Mrs. Laura Bush.” The event will feature a keynote address by Bush and a question and answer session hosted by Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D., TTUHSC

EVENT: As her namesake, the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health is a testament to Mrs. Bush’s lifelong dedication to advocating for the better health of women worldwide. During her address, Bush will explain the critical importance of advancing gender-specific medicine to improving the health of both men and women.
Multiple sponsorship levels are available for the event. Proceeds from “A Conversation with Mrs. Laura Bush” will benefit the TTUHSC Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health and help further women’s health research and maintain programs that make a difference in the lives of women and their families every day. Bush will host a brief press conference at 10:15 a.m. in the Watergarden Ballroom on the day of the event.
