The School of Nursing has once again received high marks from U.S. News & World Report.

The latest edition of Best Graduate Schools ranks the School of Nursing No. 64 of 79 U.S. nursing schools that made the list.

“This is the highest we have ever ranked and we are very honored and pleased,” said School of Nursing Dean Michael L. Evans, Ph.D., R.N., FAAN. “Our reputation is outstanding and getting better as we continue to thrive and as our amazing graduates go all over the country and make a difference.”

There are more than 700 nursing programs in the U.S., and the majority of them offer graduate programs. This national ranking places the TTUHSC School of Nursing in the country’s top 10 percent of graduate nursing programs.

The magazine’s rankings of online master’s in nursing degree programs are based on factors like graduation rates, academic and career support services offered to students and admissions selectivity.

The School of Nursing offers master’s degrees with tracks in administration, education, adult-gerontology, acute care nurse practitioner, family nurse practitioner, nurse anesthetist, nurse-midwifery and pediatric nurse practitioner.
