The State of Texas, and the nation, are facing a critical shortage of nurses.
"It is so critical still the shortage of nurses and just for Texas alone by the year 2020 we will be 70,000 nurses short," said Dr. Pearl Merritt, Regional Dean of the TTUHSC School of Nursing.
