Enrollment drive for cancer prevention study begins - myFOXlubbock.com
You could potentially be a part of preventing cancer. A local effort is starting up to get Lubbock involved in a national cancer prevention study by the American Cancer Society.
CPS-3, as the 20-year study is known, will enter the recruitment phase locally on April 2 with a kickoff lunch. Businesses and individuals are encouraged to attend by purchasing tickets for $15 or $120 for a table of eight. The featured speaker at the event will be Dr. Tedd Mitchell, president of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
