Doctors treating patients in rural health care facilities soon will be able to consult with physicians at the Texas Tech University Health Science Center via computer network that can transmit visual images. AT&T donated $210,000 to provide the computers necessary for the Kellogg Affiliated Remote Environment Network. The images, transmitted via telephone lines, would be displayed on personal computer screens at both locations. Read the full story >> |
