Cynthia Anette Reyes, una jovencita de 18 años quien ha padecido una crónica complicación renal, fue elegida como beneficiaria por la fundación Make-A-Wish, la cual concede deseos a los niños que padecen condiciones médicas que amenazan la vida.

Cynthia optó por donar cuatro mil quinientos dólares, otorgados por Make-A-Wish, al Centro de Investigación de Nefrología Pediátrica del Centro de Ciencias de Salud de Texas Tech (TTUHSC), ubicado en El Paso, con el propósito de beneficiar a decenas de niños que padecen complicaciones severas de los riñones.
