First class of TTUHSC medical students graduating - Odessa American

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center of the Permian Basin will reach another milestone Saturday when its first class of medical students graduates at the United Spirit Arena in Lubbock.

The 18 medical students first arrived at the Permian Basin campus in 2009, when Texas Tech opened a program to third- and fourth-year medical students. The Permian Basin campus is only one of three options the medical students could go to for their clinical rotations in the final two years of medical school....
