Two School of Pharmacy faculty members recently received good news. Leukemia Texas awarded Paul Trippier, Ph.D., a $20,000 grant to continue his life-saving leukemia research. Trippier is an assistant professor for the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

In addition, Assistant Professor Les Covington, Pharm.D., passed the Certified Geriatric Pharmacist exam. Covington was one of two School of Pharmacy faculty members from the Department of Pharmacy Practice to pass the exam. The other was Kalin Clifford, Pharm.D., from the Dallas/Fort Worth campus.
