Lunch & Learn raises money for shelter

The Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health hosted Part 3 of its Lunch & Learn series Nov. 8 at Amarillo National Bank Plaza
II. Angela Knapp Eggers, senior outreach director for the Laura W. Bush Institute
for Women’s Health, said roughly 120 women attended the event, which raised approximately
$3,500 for Amarillo’s Downtown Women’s Center.
The final presentation in the series focused on Nutritional Health and featured chefs
Becky McKinley and Kristi Aragon from Two Knives Catering. Topics from the first two
presentations in the series focused on Mental & Emotional Health (Part 1) and Physical
Health (Part 2).
