General manager of Texas Tech Public Broadcasting John Kirby has resigned, and it’s unrelated to recent funding cuts, say Texas Tech University officials. … KTTZ came under the oversight of the system beginning last fall, Giovannetti said. The move allowed Tech to involve the entire system: Texas Tech, Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and Angelo State University.
