Schools unveil mobile medical training lab -

After several years of planning, a $200,000, 57-foot traveling classroom will roam the Texas Panhandle with mannequins that simulate diseases and injuries for hands-on medical training.


The SimCentral training facility — operated jointly by Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Amarillo College and West Texas A&M University — showed off its mobile simulation lab Wednesday.
